📖 How to Use Pomodoro Timer

Classic Pomodoro Technique with auto-sync task list: 25-minute focus sessions, 5-minute breaks, and automatic task switching:

1 Add Your Tasks

Type tasks in the input field and click "Add Task". List all work items for today. Tool automatically selects first uncompleted task when timer starts.

2 Start Focus Session

Click Start to begin 25-minute Pomodoro. Timer counts down, current task highlighted. Stay focused on one task - no multitasking. Pause if absolutely needed.

3 Take Breaks

After 25 minutes, timer auto-switches to 5-minute break. Step away from screen, stretch, hydrate. Tool tracks completed Pomodoros (🍅) per task.

4 Track Daily Progress

View stats: Pomodoros completed today, total lifetime, tasks finished. Check completed tasks. Auto-sync moves to next incomplete task after break ends.

Tool automatically highlights current task during focus time. When break ends and you start next Pomodoro, it moves to next uncompleted task. No manual selection needed - just keep working down the list systematically.
Yes, but avoid it if possible. True Pomodoro technique says interruptions void the session. If you must pause (emergency), click Pause button. For better focus, silence notifications and tell others you're unavailable for 25 minutes.
That's normal! Large tasks take 3-5+ Pomodoros. Tool tracks with 🍅 count next to each task. Don't check task as complete until fully done. One task can accumulate multiple Pomodoro sessions.
8-12 Pomodoros = 4-6 hours of focused work is realistic for most people. Beginners: start with 4-6 daily. You can't sustain deep focus for 8+ hours straight. Quality over quantity - 6 focused Pomodoros beats 12 distracted ones.
